Well... I just don't know what to say... my very very special little lad has gone. He was so healthy such a short time ago, and this is rather sudden. He'd received a bite to the face - not much of one even, just a little nip... but it abscessed - and despite our best efforts his teeth went out of line and overgrew, and we clipped them, but he wasn't eating - and we fed him wet foods, but it didn't work - and now my baby's gone - just given up :*(

We were so close. Anyone who knows us and our rats knows how much this little lad meant to me - he was my heart and soul... my reason for getting up in the morning. He was something else. I just can't quite believe he's gone.

I have his wonderful children here to console me, every one of them as fantastic as he was... but he was so special :*(

I don't really know what to say about him. I'm still a bit numb. He was the original 'flat rat' - as he was always flopping down totally flat in photos :*)

He was such a cuddly old bear, and a favourite with everyone who met him - he was like a slightly silver polar bear - or as I like to think of it - a cloud with a silver lining and now he's gone.

So sorry this is such a weepy obituary - but he meant so much to me and I didn't expect to lose him just yet :*(

I miss him so much :*( he was always bounding from the cage to cuddle me - and now he won't be there when i go in to feed and clean and play with them.
