Pauline Campbell Jones
I don't know how to write this -
Pauline was a fabulous little girl - and things will be
different without her :*( Pauline was always such a sparky,
bright girl... so full of beans right up to the end - even last
night she was bouncing about. Today she just gave up - and went
to sleep. :*(
She was an ugly girl - she's always been nicknamed Pauline the Penis... :*) because of her uncanny resemblence. She was pretty quiet too - always seemed to get on with everyone, although, she could be a pain to introduce to other groups. Whenever we've had a sick rat though, Pauline has been the one who looked after her... always the one to cuddle up to anyone who was ill or unhappy. Because she lived to a good age, she saw many cagemates pass away - and comforted them all. Iris, Peaches, Gina... and many more. She was such a sweet natured rat, very friendly with people, though never too keen on being held for long - always wanted to go off exploring. Maybe she didn't like being held because of her skin being hairless, I don't know - anyway... she was a good little lady, and a real friend. :*( Everyone who met her thought she was fantastic, if a bit grim looking - and everyone wanted to touch her or at least have a good look. I wouldn't have another hairless rat again (and didn't have Pauline out of my own choice really), but it was interesting to experience owning one. Pauline was often ill through her life, but could have been worse I suppose - and no, she wasn't attractive, but I adored her anyway... :*( Run free my beautiful girl - at peace again, and with your friends at the Bridge.

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to
me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer, let it be. For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer. let it be. Let it be, let it be, ..... And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be. I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be, ..... |
