I don't really know how to write this :*( When I went to Ireland Judee was fine, she was lively, fat and happy. I came back tonight to find her a little bit under the weather. Lookeda little like the beginnings of pneumonia. So I was getting ready to take her to the vet tomorrow - starting her on Baytril tonight. We got her out to give her her baytril, and she was fine... then, she wouldn't take much of her meds in babyfood... and then she started gasping and twitching badly :cry: then she just keeled over and stopped breathing altogether. She was dead within a minute :( I am so gutted - she was such a healthy girl... and I wish I'd never gone to Ireland... if I hadn't gone, I would have noticed all this sooner and may have been able to save her... all she needed was a vet visit :( I am so guilty and I feel like such a bad bad rat owner :( My poor bautiful girl :( she was such a bright spark, such a gorgeous wee lady... and everyone loved her. :( I just don't know what I'll do without her.... more to the point, I don't know what Iris will do without her :*(
