Desi had a wonderful life… she was a wonderful rat, so she deserved that :*) We got her along with her sister Jemi, in 2006 from Jo Pierre, from the litter that Emma fostered for her.Sadly she recently developed some nasty looking lumps internally, and we decided not to operate because of her age and the speed they were growing . She got thin really quickly, so we decided to help her along.
She was always good fun, a bouncy, active girl, full of life and sparkle, and always the first to leap on you when you walked into the rat room. She was soppy and would always give kisses, and was always really outgoing and inquisitive.
She gave us a lovely litter to Zeus, of which we kept Dawn, who will be missing her mum now, as they became very close friends in recent months. Jemi will miss her too – I just hope she doesn’t pine for her too much, as she’s so full of beans herself. :*(
Run free my beautiful, sparky little lady, go and find your children that went to the bridge too young, and give them a cuddle from me. You deserve a rest now, don’t play too hard :*)
