Genetics to knowledge: aa (bb) Dd Mm rbrb (possibly carrying/expressing Chocolate and possibly carrying Mock Mink and Ruby Eye)

Caddy was a gorgeous lad - even though we weren't too sure on his colour. He was either a pale Russian Blue or, more likely, a Russian Dove (Chocolate based). He was a sweet little chap, and really nicely sized.

Cads would have been 2 in a couple of weeks - and I'm shocked to the core to lose him. I'm guessing it was because he was a bit fat, and his heart gave in. He was curled up asleep anyway - so at least he never suffered. He didn't have a single ill day in his life - except perhaps breaking his paw. It set weirdly, but he was always OK on it. Only 2 days ago, I had a newbie owner visiting, and I was introducing him to Caddy - and we were saying how he didn't look even close to his age.

Cads was my cuddle chops. We snuggled so much - he was the softest, most velvety rat - maybe because he was a suspected satin velvet... and the most adorable face on any rat I just don't know what I'll do without his wonderful expression gazing at me from the cage, waiting for a cuddle, and tapping on the bars with his wonky leg. :*)

Caddy - you were too good for this world - a creature so gentle, so loving, so sweet natured... you belong in a better place :*) Run free my gentle bear, go and find Barabajagal, and your dad Hobo, who've you've missed so much :*(

He was my 300lbs of heavenly joy :*)

"300 Pounds" - Howlin' Wolf

All you girls think the days are gone
You don't have to worry, you can have your fun
Take me, baby, for your little boy
Three hundred pounds of heavenly joy
This is it
This is it
Look what you get

You been creeping and hiding behind his back
'Cause you got you a man that you don't like
Throw that Jack, baby, outta your mind
Follow me, baby, have a real good time
This is it
This is it
Look what you get

Hoy! Hoy! I'm the boy
Three hundred pounds of heavenly joy
I'm so glad that you understand
Three hundred pounds of muscle and man
This is it
This is it
Look what you get

If the men's all mad then the women's glad
If the little kids' happy then the old folk's mad
I'm so glad that you understand
Three hundred pounds of muscle and man
This is it
This is it
Look what you get
