Well... it's been a hard winter so far - I have a horrid feeling there'll be a few more losses among the oldies :( but Be-bop amazed me. He's been ill since he was 6 weeks old - we never thought he'd make it to a year, let alone two - but he surpassed all our expectations, and was 2 just over a week ago. He's always been such a sparky little lad - with the most unbelievable lust for life. He was always the first at the bars, nothing could stop him, and even though the last few days he's been ever so wobbly and found it hard to breathe, he's still been bouncing about and up at the bars - but I think the cold weather and his general illness finally got the better of him. We found him curled up warm in his igloo - and obviously, one of his cagefriends (probably brother NotA) had been cuddled up to him. :*(

He was a crazy lad - very like his dad in his vow not to give up - no matter what happened... he was always so incredibly licky, would grab you and lick you like crazy. He was just a wonderful little personality - and I just don't know what we'll do without him, he was so.... vital.

Run free you beautiful little man... go and find your brother and your dad.
