Genetics to knowledge: Aa Dd rbrb (possibly carrying Mink, Chocolate and Dumbo)

W00t was a very special little lady... one of the prettiest rats we'd bred, and plenty of people commented on how gorgeous she was and how they'd like to steal her. Well, now she's gone - quite suddenly too. We're not 00% sure why, but PM revealed that all was not well in her digestive system - so looks like it was that that killed her

W00t was a sparky character - it was like having our old girl
Tin back again. She was a nutter - always all over the place, could hardly keep her in the cage, but so affectionate with it. She would run up your arm headign for your nose or your ear, and you had to be quick to stop her whiffling her whiskers into places they weren't wanted.

I thought the World of this little lady - she was so full of life and so bouncy and mad, even just a couple of days ago. Then I noticed she didn't seem quite right, and thought it looked like CK symptoms. Of course, now we know it wasn't - as her lungs were decent. She must have been in a fair bit of discomfort, and I feel terrible knowing that :*( there was nothing we could have done of course, had we known, it might have been different. Poor girl... I often wish so much that they could talk - tell us what's wrong with them.

Anyway, my special little lass has gone now - hopefully she'll be with her friends and family again - Little Nitty who she's missed for so long, and her mum Varm who she really seemed to be upset about the loss of. Another gorgeous little girl, taken far too young :*( Bleh. Sometimes I really do wonder why we keep on... and is it worth it? :*(

Run free my darling <3 we'll miss you...

And a little ditty for her :*(

The Long And Winding Road - The Beatles:

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to your door.

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day.
Why leave me standing here?
Let me know the way.

Many times I've been alone
And many times I've cried,
Anyway you'll never know
The many ways I've tried.

And still they lead me back
To the long, winding road
You left me standing here
A long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door.

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long, long time ago (ohhh)
Don't keep me waiting here (don't keep me waiting)
Lead me to your door.

xx
