Genetics to knowledge: Aa dd rbrb (possibly carrying Mink, Siamese, Chocolate and Ruby Eye)

Can't believe I'm writing another topic again in here so soon - especially one for such a young buck. Sid was just over a year (he was a year in August) and far too young to go yet - but he'd not been well for a long time. I still don't know what's wrong with him. Sadly no-one who'll post mortem in the near future, and no way of preserving him until we can get someone to 

Sid was the most gorgeous boy. He was such a pretty rat, and I guess, even when he got really ill and I knew he'd never be bred from - I always hoped he'd come back somehow and be a top stud buck for us as he was one of the most sweet faced rats I ever had. He was adorable - so friendly and cuddly from the word go - and always a true Bongo Fury ambassador... :*( I am heartbroken to lose him, especially so young... he didn't deserve this - and he's been so uncomfortable with us trying to treat whatever was wrong with him for the last few months... :*( it's just not fair...

Sid was a beautiful rat-  always photogenic, and always such a gorgeous colour. He was so friendly, so incredibly friendly - he never had an off moment, despite sometimes being in obvious discomfort... I'm in some shock here, so I'm not at all sure what to write...

I think an this song suits well - it's one I've heard a lot recently as one of our bands plays it - and it just fitted...

Run free young lad... you were far too young to be taken - as said in the Nanette Newman book I loved so much as a child (That Dog) - maybe God just wanted you because you'd be useful for him.... :*( you wonderful beautiful special lad... :*( At least you'll never have to grow old... :*(
