Well - little Rusty's finally gone. She's not been healthy for a long time, she had serious respiratory trouble, which despite meds, never did get any better properly - and I think it's just taken its toll on her with winter coming in too.

Rusty was a lovely, quiet little girl. She blended into the background a bit, because she was a little shy, and the other girls in her cage always come surging to the front, and she'd just wait her turn :*). She really was a sweet little lass. I don't think she's been really happy wince her two close friends, Pie and sister Sooty, went to live with a pet owner. I would have sent her too - but her illness worried me, so I kept her back.

As a younger girl, she was so pretty, and such a playful little miss - always disappearing at free ranges, and exploring. She was a go getter really, and I'll miss her presence - even though she was so quiet with people. She really was the spit of her lovely mum too - and so was one of my pretty little girls, who I used to look at for ages when she was younger and fitter :*)

I don't really know how to write about her though... we had a special, quiet sort of bond, but hard to write about... she knows how special she was I hope :*)

Run free little darling - go and give your lovely dad a big snuggle from me. You're not suffering any more at least.
