There really just aren't words - this boy meant the world to me - the absolute world... :*(

So soon after we lost his beautiful sister, we're now saying goodbye to wonderful old Gator Possum. GP was my special boy - my very very special baby. We were very very close. Our relationship was like the one I had with his dad Ape - who was also incredibly special. I'm not even really sure how to write this, because I just know how much I'll miss him. I'm absolutely beside myself losing him :*(

Gator Possum was always perfect. He was a stunning buck - really good looking, but also with a perfect temperament - and stayed a very good alpha until the day he died. He was great with people, great with other rats - and sired several litters for us. At least I have his children and grandchildren to remember him by, I'm only sad he didn't live for longer. Still, he made a reasonable age for our line, and he was healthy throughout his life, only in the last few days did he really seem to just get old.

I just don't know what I'll do without him... he was one in a million - my special, wonderful darling baby boy... :*(

Run free gorgeous big man - much too good for this world. I just hope we meet again some day - in some form :*)
