Gutted to announce the passing of Parry. She was a really special little girl - and I will miss her so much :*( She was my special stumpy lass - with her half-tail. She was such a quirky girl, always one of the first of her sisters to come out for a cuddle - and I'm gutted I didn't get to have that last special cuddle before she left us. We were away of course, and Grace called us first thing yesterday morning to let us know,  I just wish Parry'd waited another 48 hours. One thing at least, she didn't suffer - she was really happy and bouncy until the very end, and Grace was shocked to find her gone.

I was never sure she'd pull through losing her litter myself. She was quite ill with that, and seemed to recover with treatment, but never went back to her old self 100%. Then she had her funny neurological thing where her shoulder seemed to be troubling her. That cleared within 24 hours really... but obviously it knocked her too much. We'd been trying to keep her comfortable and quiet for the most part, having not intro'd her back to her siblings, but obviously it wasn't enough.

She was far too young, and far too special - so I just hope that she's being looked after at the bridge :*(

Run free my wonderful little darling... you were just too good... :*(

Bright Eyes - Art Garfunkel/Mike Batt

Is it a kind of dream,
Floating out on the tide,
Following the river of death downstream?
Oh, is it a dream?

There's a fog along the horizon,
A strange glow in the sky,
And nobody seems to know where you go,
And what does it mean?
Oh, is it a dream?

Bright eyes,
Burning like fire.
Bright eyes,
How can you close and fail
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes.

Is it a kind of shadow,
Reaching into the night,
Wandering over the hills unseen,
Or is it a dream?

There's a high wind in the trees,
A cold sound in the air,
And nobody ever knows when you go,
And where do you start,
Oh, into the dark.

Bright eyes,
burning like fire.
Bright eyes,
how can you close and fail
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes.

Bright eyes,
burning like fire.
Bright eyes,
how can you close and fail
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes.
