I can't believe I'm writing this - I just hope whoever it is up there who hates me right now lets up for a bit soon... first Webb, then Peen, then the house, now Bouti :( Bouti was a very special little chap - not particularly cuddly, but very sweet at times. He was far more of a ratty rat - and he and Caddy were great friends. Just recently Bouti developed a nasty facial abscess, which we had been cleaning, but obviously it had affected him far worse than we realised, as today we found him curled up in his bed :*(

Bouti was such a handsome boy, and everyone commented on how pretty his colour was. I really will miss him, and Caddy will miss him even more :( He's on his own at the moment, so we must do our best to get him in with some friends as quickly as possible... :(

I just can't think straight at the moment, this feels such a short obit - but I just can't find the words. :( I can't even sort my website out because I have no software or PC to do so :(

Run free lovely lad - taken too young :( Thank you Ann for letting us have him, the time we had together was very special.

Cloudy - Simon And Garfunkel - the perfect song for Bouti - and being a Rivendell rat - it's tradition that he should have a Simon and Garfunkel song:

Cloudy
The sky is gray and white and cloudy,
Sometimes I think it's hanging down on me.
And it's a hitchhike a hundred miles.
I'm a rag-a-muffin child.
Pointed finger-painted smile.
I left my shadow waiting down the road for me a while.

Cloudy
My thoughts are scattered and they're cloudy,
They have no borders, no boundaries.
They echo and they swell
From Tolstoi to Tinker Bell.
Down from Berkeley to Carmel.
Got some pictures in my pocket and a lot of time to kill.

Hey sunshine
I haven't seen you in a long time.
Why don't you show your face and bend my mind?
These clouds stick to the sky
Like floating questions, why?
And they linger there to die.
They don't know where they are going, and, my friend, neither do I.

Cloudy,
Cloudy.

xx
